The National Monuments Service's description
Close to a hill summit, in grassland overlooking marshy ground to N. Well-preserved oval rath (E-W 41.5m, N-S 34.5m) defined by a bank and external fosse. The bank is present from W through N to SE; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The fosse does not survive from ESE to SSE where quarrying has encroached upon the monument. There is an entrance at E. A ringfort (GA030-003----) lies c. 250m to NW.
