The National Monuments Service's description
This is the westernmost of three fairly closely associated burnt spreads (see also GA019-084---- and GA019-085----, c. 98m and c. 142m to the SE respectively), all located on a long gentle W-facing boggy slope, which had recently been drained and ploughed. They were uncovered during the course of that work. This one comprised a very small deposit (L 0.5m; Wth 0.5m) of small burnt stones and charcoal that was visible on the unploughed W headland of the field and it had been truncated by a modern field drain immediately to its W.
