The National Monuments Service's description
In pastureland. This cashel (int. diam. c. 30m) was noted on LiDAR imagery (FitzPatrick 2019, 25). A minor road running WNW-ESE clips it at NNW and NE. The arc of the enclosing bank in the NW quadrant has a high content of stone in its make-up. On the LiDAR image, a possible rectangular building (GA016-137002-) is visible in the W half of the interior and what appears to be an internal division bisects the interior on a N-S axis. A series of small fields and plots surrounding the cashel may be an associated field system (GA016-137003-).
