The National Monuments Service's description
Located in the graveyard (GA009D014002-) associated with the early monastic foundation at the SE end of Inisbofin Island. Described by Higgins (1987, ii, 393, no. 113) as a plain waisted cross-slab (H 0.86m; max. Wth 0.35m; T 0.06-0.07m) of gneisse or schist, loosely set in the ground with its broad faces orientated to the E and W. A concave notch has been cut out of each side of the slab and the area above these has been worked to a rounded roughly semicircular shape. Another similar cross-slab (GA009D014010-) is also visible in the graveyard.
