The National Monuments Service's description
At S end of island just W of a small landing place. Ruinous E. Chr. oratory (E-W; L 6.9m, Wth 3.95m ext.) associated with St Rioch or Roc (Stokes 1868, 40-1). There is a blocked doorway in W wall, narrow rectangular window in E with altar below, and an aumbry in NE corner. A small graveyard lies immediately to E and a, possibly holy, well c. 30m to SSE. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 413; 6'Flanagan 1927a, Vol. 3, 29; Hardiman 1846, 120)
