The National Monuments Service's description

Just above foreshore on rough grazing land. An unenclosed, roughly wedge-shaped area (N-S 15.2m, E-W 30m). Numerous small set stones, mainly beach boulders, are visible, including some of white quartz. A number of rectangular graves (L c. 1m, Wth 0.4m) are present, defined by head-, foot- and sidestones. (Hardiman 1846, 120)
