The National Monuments Service's description
No visible surface trace survived of a hachured feature marked on the 1930 edition of the OS 6-inch when inspected in 1984. The field was under pasture. The OS 25-inch plan indicates it was a disused gravel pit. Probably of 19th/20th century date.
