The National Monuments Service's description
On a ridge in undulating grassland. Known locally as 'Comer's Fort' (Neary 1914, 118, no. 51) and described as 'an earthen fort, which was completely dug by the occupying tenant, who had no taste for the antique'! No visible surface trace survives. There was a probable souterrain (GA005-105001-) in the interior.
