The National Monuments Service's description
A linear field system covering sections of three fields was found during pre-development investigations in 2002. It was delimited by seven non-continuous ditches forming a long curving strip (L 267m, Wth 100m). There were large quantities of granite within the ditch and and to the N, suggesting a substantial earth and stone boundary. Artifacts from the ditches included local Medieval pottery, a glass fragment, a horseshoe fragment , a plough pebble and residual flint artifacts (Seaver 2004, 172).
