The National Monuments Service's description
In the saddle between Kilmashogue and Two Rock Mountain is a ruined building known as Calbeck Castle. This is the remains of a dwelling house built c. 1800 by Cllr. Calbeck. According to Duncans' map it was in ruins by 1821 (Healy 2005, 85).
