The National Monuments Service's description

No. 23 Aungier Street is a mid-terrace three-bay four-storey brick rectangular plan house, c.14m wide and c.10m in height to parapet, with two shopfronts at ground level, one in a former carriage arch, and replaced front and rear façades. Built c.1670-1725, reconfigured c.1790 and again c.1900 (Dublin Civic Trust, 2012).
