The National Monuments Service's description

In the nave floor of St Audeon's medieval parish church (DU018-020075-) there is a 17th memorial stone which bears traces of a central floriated cross rising from steps. It has an incised Roman inscription which refers to the 'HOWSE of GORMA(N)STOWN' (L 2.30m, Wth 1.05m).
