The National Monuments Service's description
The tower of St Audeon's medieval parish church (DU018-020075-) contains the Portlester monument originally in the chancel aisle chapel, comprising a large granite slab which depicts two recumbent figures a knight in armour and his lady; these are Roland FitzEustace, Lord Portlester (ob.1496) and his wife Margaret Jenico. She is depicted wearing a V-necked gown and horned headress. The monument is a cenotaph. Margaret Jenico and Roland FitzEustace were buried at New Abbey, Kilcullen, Kildare.
