The National Monuments Service's description

In the nave of St Audeon's medieval parish church (DU018-020075-) is a memorial stone commemorating Matthew Terrell (d. 1619). It is a rectangular granite slab with upper part repaired. It is decorated in low false relief with a shield that contains the motto 'Super est quod supra est.'There is an inscription below the shield (H 2.00m, Wth 1.00m).
