The National Monuments Service's description
Excavations at the corner of Bride Street and Ship Street Little in 1993 exposed awatercourse running E-W defined on the S side by post and wattle fences. Finds included a bone-trial piece dated to the late 10th-11th century (Simpson, L, 1994, 25-26).
