The National Monuments Service's description
Excavations in 1994 at the rear of Kinlay House within the medieval city revealed the remnants of nine separate structures. The most complete plan indicated a post and wattle house oriented E-W (L6.2m, Wth 4m). The finds included bronze pins, fragments of bone combs and 12th century pottery (Murtagh1995, 25-6).
