The National Monuments Service's description
An area known as 'Croppies Acre' on the north bank of the river Liffey, S of Collins Barracks was used as a mass grave for those executed or killed in 1798. It is located in the Esplanade (dims. L 94m, Wth 51m, (De Courcy 1996, 96-7).
