The National Monuments Service's description
Preston's Inn was located on Preston's Lane (Copper Alley). The building was demolished before 1534 when the supporters of Silken Thomas placed their canon here when besieging Dublin Castle (Bradley & King 1987, 1, 28, FMD map (1978) M17). There are no visible surface remains.
