The National Monuments Service's description
Annotated ‘Pigeon Ho.’ on the first edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map where it is shown standing on the townland boundary with Doddsborough. Dovecote appears to have stood on the SE corner of a formal garden associated with a ‘School Ho. for Glergymen's Sons' (Spa Restaurant) as shown on the first edition of the OS six-inch map. Now located on the grounds of the Spa Hotel.
