The National Monuments Service's description
Westpalstown House, a 17th century dwelling has been completely removed leaving little surface trace on the ground. According to the 1994 report the ornamental gateway to the house survived as two stone piers which incorporated many carved stone fragments (DU007-029002-) that probably originated from the nearby medieval church (DU007-008001-).
