The National Monuments Service's description
Holmpatrick church site (DU005-031001-) and graveyard (DU005-031002-) lies at the SW end of a prominent ridge overlooking Skerries village and the E coast of Dublin. In the NW quadrant of the graveyard to the N of the 18th-century bell-tower there is a late 17th century headstone dedicated to Richard Farrel. Above the name there is an inscribed I H S Christogram with a cross rising from the cross-bar of the H cross with the date 1691 below the name (Fingal Historic Graveyards Project, 2008). Possible architectural fragment from the medieval church reused as a headstone.
