The National Monuments Service's description
Discovered in Holmpatrick graveyard (DU005-031002-) in 1856 and now set in concrete against the external face of the S wall of the 18th century bell-tower that was built on the site of the Augustinian Priory (DU005-031----) there is a 16th-century graveslab dedicated to Richard de La Hoyde (Delahide] of Loughshinny (d. 1587). The Latin inscription beneath the armorial plaques of Richard Delahide and his wide Maria reads; 'Hic Iacet Richardus Delahide Loghshinne Generosus Qui Obiit XXVIII Novembris Anno 1587 Et Maria Delahid Uxor Eius Qui Obiit' which translates into English as 'Here Lies Richard Delahide of Noble Birth of Loughshinny who died 28 November Year 1587 and Maria Delahide his wife who died'
