The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a spine of rocky ground on top of a N–S limestone ridge. The precipitous E-facing slope of the ridge lies 20m to E. This small circular feature is barely discernible at ground level, and its date and function are uncertain. It consists of a roughly circular area (6m N–S; 5m E–W) defined on the perimeter at NNE–NNW by a very low, moss-covered rise (Wth 0.6-1m; H 0.2m) which appears to be the remnants of a stone bank or wall. The interior is flat and grass-covered but feels stony underfoot and appears to incorporate expanses of natural limestone bedrock: it is located on a broad seam of limestone bedrock that continues to N and S beyond the hut site. There is a possible enclosure (DG103-094----) 30m to N and a hillfort (DG103-072----) 50m to N, and a possible cairn (DG103-032----) 60m to S.
