The National Monuments Service's description
The 'Hut Site' recorded here (O. Davies) cannot now be traced. It was '16 ft. across' and the 'outer face of the oval was not visible'. The centre was slightly hollow! It was situated in good pasture on the S of Lurgan ridge.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
