The National Monuments Service's description
In a pasture field, located adjacent to an E-W field wall bordering the N side of the field. Immediately to N of the field wall, the ground shelves down into an E-W stream valley.
This feature is not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. It consists of a circular area (diam. 6m) defined by a stone bank/wall (Wth 1m; H 0.3m). The stone bank is evident as a low, sod-covered rise, most clearly defined on the E half of the feature. No stones are visible but they can be felt beneath the sod cover. There is a gap (Wth 1.4m) in the enclosing bank at N, facing the natural slope which drops into the stream valley. The interior appears slightly sunken relative to exterior ground level. The remains of this feature are poorly preserved and its function is unclear. It may be a hut site but it is also possible that it is a relatively late feature, such as an animal pen, associated with a ruined vernacular farmstead located 40m to E. There is an enclosure (DG103-075----) located c. 80m to E.
