The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, broken by seams of karst outcropping. Immediately to N, the ground shelves down into an E–W stream valley, overlooked on the N side by a high ridge. There are ruined vernacular farm buildings in the adjoining field to W. This enclosure is not indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. It consists of a broadly oval area (c. 25m N-S; 21.5m E-W) defined by a low-profile bank (Wth 2-2.5m; H 0.3m). It is not clear whether the enclosing bank is earthen or has a stony core. It can be traced at WSW-NE as a very low, grass-covered rise. It is incorporated at NE-SE into a later field wall, now reduced to a jumble of stones. At SSE-SSW the outline of the enclosure is barely discernible, and here, along or just inside the original line of the enclosing bank, there is an area (c. 3.5-4m E-W) of disturbance where a seam of limestone bedrock has been quarried out. The interior of the enclosure is level and not noticeably raised above exterior ground level.
