The National Monuments Service's description
A D-shaped area, 24.3m E-W and 16m N-S, is pointed out as a burial ground. The site is a low, level platform up to .6m above the surrounding ground. There is evidence to suggest that it was originally enclosed by a stone wall c. 1.5m wide.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
