The National Monuments Service's description
Low field clearance cairn situated inside large field which is one of several fields in a large field system of unknown date. The monument consists of a low grass covered stone cairn (H 0.3m; diam. 3.4m) and apprears to be the remains of a field clearance cairn which is located inside a large field which is part of an extensive field system (DG015-031002-) and nearby stone enclosure (DG015-031). A second field clearance cairn(DG015-031003-) is located 35m to the N. These clearance cairns appear to be post-1700 AD in date.
