The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
Date of upload/revision: 17 April 2009

Massive granite boulder now lying on cashel wall (CW024-025----). Thought to have come from somewhere in the field to the NE of cashel. Three cupmarks, one surrounded by faint circle, scattered over surface. Two grooves appear to be natural as similar marks appear on other boulders nearby.
