The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007
Circular area (diam. c. 29m) surrounded by earthen bank. Several gaps, one of which (at NE) may incorporate former entrance. No visible traces of fosse. Interior uneven. Abutting ringfort bank immediately E of entrance is a subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 4.5m) defined by low bank.
