The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007
Original bank represented by bank of stone collapse (max. ext. H at NE 1.2m). Straight field walls have replaced bank at W and N, but site appears to have been originally circular (est original diam. c. 40m).
Aerial photograph (GB89.S.15) shows well preserved ringfort (Barrett 1989).
