The National Monuments Service's description

A large sub-square, earthfast granite boulder (4m NW-SE x 4m NE-SW). The surface of the stone is highest at the NW, and falls away quite sharply to the NE, SE and SW. On the highest part of the stone, nearest the edge, is a cup (diam. 5cm; D 1cm) enclosed by a very weathered ring (ext. diam. 14cm). Nearby is a second small cup (diam. 4cm), which also appears to be enclosed by a weathered ring (ext. diam. 12cm). There is also a large cup (diam. 7cm; D 2cm) without any evidence for an enclosing ring. Several other pock marks appear to represent the remains of weathered cup marks, including 3 small cups (diams. 3cm) forming a line.
