The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight shoulder, immediately above a steep break in slope, in upland rough grazing. Tomduff Mountain dominates the view to the E and Mount Leinster to the SE, and there are very good to extensive views overlooking low lands S-SW. The view is limited from W-N by the rising slope. There is a standing stone (CW019-066001-) c. 115m to the NNW, another (CW019-066002-) c. 70m to the NE and a ring-cairn (CW019-069----) c. 320m to the E. A roughly triangular area (dims. 32.5m N-S; 29.2m E-W) with rounded corners, enclosed by a stone wall (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.17m; Wth at crest 1.3m; overall Wth 1.8m). The wall is very ruinous from E-S-W, but elsewhere is well-preserved and partially grass-covered. There is a stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.78m) in the NE quadrant.
