The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on ground sloping gently down from an adjacent roadway at W. Views restricted uphill to the S and W but wide views of rolling countryside to N and E. A granite standing stone orientated NNE-SSW rises from a rectangular base (H 1.2m, L 0.51, D 0.25m). As it rises the stone projects out at NE to a curving profile with a rounded top, notched at the S.
