The National Monuments Service's description
Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2588). One of two cremation pits (see also CW012-143----, 2m to the NW), (L 0.60m; Wth 0.57m; D 0.33m) which contained a small amount of cremated human remains. The age or sex of the remains could not be identified. A single inhumation (CW012-130----) were located c. 32m west. (Breen G. and O' Connell T.J. 2009)
