The National Monuments Service's description

Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2588). One of two cremation pits (see also CW012-144----), (L 0.88m; Wth 0.62m; D 0.27m) which contained a small amount of cremated human remains of one individual whose age at death was assessed to be between 3 and 10 years. A single chert artefact was found in the pit. A single inhumation (CW012-130----) were located c. 32m west. (Breen G. and O' Connell T.J. 2009)
