The National Monuments Service's description

Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2609). On a gentle south-facing slope with a stream to the N, a heavily disturbed spread of burnt-mound material (L 6m; Wth 4.6m; D 0.15m) was uncovered. No trough was found. (Hegarty L. 2009, 44)
