The National Monuments Service's description
Test excavations in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road uncovered two pits one of which contained prehistoric pottery. (Hughs J. 2008, 26-7). Full excavation (Excavation Licence number E2608) failed to produce any further archaeological features of significance. (Hackett, L. 2009, 43-4)
