The National Monuments Service's description

A sample Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2590, area 3). Two shallow pits were uncovered one of which produced a radiocarbon date of BC 1270-1017. (Doyle T. 2009, 4, 10; Hughs J. 2009, 50-1)
