The National Monuments Service's description
Partially excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2599). A spread of burnt-mound material (L 30m; Wth 22.5m; D 0.35m) was uncovered under which were two troughs with evidence of timber lining and ten pits. A pair of truncating pits which contained the remains of a possible timber platform at their base was uncovered towards the N end of the site. (Hegarty L, 2009, 51)
