The National Monuments Service's description
An element of the above mentioned complex of burial and ritual sites (11, 60, 61, 65, 97). Low flat-topped mound (diam. 12m; H 0.4m) enclosed by an earthen bank (H 0.3m; Wth 2m) with internal fosse. A field boundary traverses the site in a NW-SE direction.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
