The National Monuments Service's description
Small circular mound (dims. 17.2m NE-SW; max. H 0.37m) composed largely of earth and stones with burnt stone and timbers protruding from its sides. Situated in low-lying marshy land in what was once Tonymore Lough. (Wood-Martin 1886, 197-9; Davies 1942, 19)
