The National Monuments Service's description
Narrow ledge above mine (CO139-026012-); shallow inclined working driven 285° into E-facing rock scarp. Excavation removed c. 0.3m of sediment containing stone mauls; mine contains similar depth of water today. Overal llength c. 2.5m; entrance (Wth 3.3m; H 0.8m); interior (Wth 3m; H 0.5m). Rock extract processed in large dumps outside mines (CO139-048---; CO139-049---). (O'Brien 1987: mine 11)
