The National Monuments Service's description

On top of a low E-W ridge overlooking pasture to S of Four Mile Water river. Quartz conglomorate (1.8m x 1.6m; T 0.8m) resting above three supportstones. Pair of standing stones (CO131-005001-) 2.2m to ENE and boulder burial excavated in 1989 (pers. comm. Dr. W.F. O'Brien). No pit, human remains or finds recovered. (O Nualláin 1978, 93, no.27)
