The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on shoulder of hill with commanding view to N and E. In field just NE of ringfort (CO123-041001-). One of two (CO123-041002-) long cist burials demolished 11/10/56 (UCC). According to landowner human bones found in field to SE c. 1966.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
