The National Monuments Service's description
On Argideen river, 2.5km SE of Ballinascarty. Five-bay, 5-storey, double gable ended mill with modern roof. Wheel pit along NE elevation. According to owner, had originally a 6' breastshot waterwheel than a 24' overshot waterwheel and in early 20th century, replaced by the present turbine. Power transmitted by pulley sustem operating 3 pairs of millstones on 1st floor. Remains of brick grain-drying kiln on 4th floor over living quarters. Mill race taken from river to W.
