The National Monuments Service's description
On level pasture at bottom of slope on N side of Argideen river. One stone survives. It is 1.3m L, 0.7m T, 2m H, aligned NE-SW. OS Name Book (1902) mentions 'Two large stones...about 8ft. long'; are depicted on map in NE-SW line. Landowner has blasted the prostrate stone that had lain beside extant stone. (Ó Nualláin 1988, 247, no. 134)
