The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture on the E bank of a stream. A crescent-shaped mound (8.5m N-S; 5.4m E-W; H 0.85m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 2.2m) faces W. The mound, which is partially covered by gorse and heather, is eroded at its N and S ends. Burnt material is exposed mainly on its SW side.
