The National Monuments Service's description

On rough mountain grazing, in a sheltered hollow, on the steep W-facing slopes of Hungry Hill. The remains of a circular hut site (2.9m N-S; 2.8m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.2m). The base stones of the wall protrude above the deep bog. The hut site is cut (D 0.1m) into the slight upslope at N. Rushes grow in the interior. A gap along the NW arc may mark the entrance location.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
