The National Monuments Service's description

On rough mountain grazing, in a sheltered hollow, on the steep W-facing slopes of Hungry Hill. The poorly preserved remains of an oval hut site (2.7m E-W; 1.8m N-S) defined by the base courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.45m). The base course, which is partly grassed over, is embedded in the bog cover. Rubble is scattered along the perimeter. The hut site is cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the N and is built up (H 0.1m) externally at the S, creating a level interior.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
